HISTORY

We were born in the year 2003, a toddler having learnt to walk and now raring to go. The Company was initialised by Shri Biju Gopalakrishnan Nair under the able technical advise of qualified experts in the field of Woods and Furniture Our Organisation procures rosewood logs from auctions conducted by the Forest Department of the Government of India. The woods are then finely cut into the specific sizes as per the requirements. The ends of the cut pieces are then coated with heated paraffin wax to prevent cracking and are sanded, polished and ready for use!

RANGE OF WOODS

South Indian Rosewood:
We specialize in using Rosewood from the South Indian belts concentrating on the thick, lush, forest belts of the Uttara Kanada district of Southern Karnataka in India, known worldwide for its beautiful Rosewood. The Rosewood available here is among the darkest brown in Rosewoods available the world over and having the highest oil content, hence the most viable woods for manufacturing musical instrument parts due to its resilience.

The A Grade wood will have straighter, finer grain, good cosmestic appearance, and excellent colour match of sides & Back.

B Grade material may not be as straight grained, or may have some mineral stroking, and the colour and grains will be lighter.

We manufacture parts for Guitars, Mandolins, Violins, Cellos etc. We regularly arrange consignments of Fingerboards, Bridges, Head plates, Pegs, End Pins, Chin rest, Tail piece to our various clients in East Asian Countries, Europe, Australia, USA, etc.,
